Marrakech to Fez via Merzouga tour & Camel Trekking and Night at the Desert Camp 5 Days :
Tour Itinerary : Morocco Tour from Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga & Camel Riding.
Day 1 : Marrakech - Telouet - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate :
Depart at 08:00 from Marrakesh to Ouarzazate via the High Atlas mountains Tizi n'Tichka pass throughout the high Atlas Mountains range. Visit the Telout Kasbah and the universal Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah as it has been named by UNESCO in 1987. Then visit the cinema studios where we will have dinner, to end the day in Oaurzazate and spend the night at the hotel.
Day 2 : Ouarzazate - Skoura - Roses valley - Dades Valley :
We will visit the Taourirt Kasbah, the palm grove of Skoura and the Rose valley. We will follow a track, along the journey you will see berber farmers. They use an ancient style of hanging plants beside the mountains. We will cross the gorges, with its vast calmness; it's a unique opportunity to observe how Berbers nomads live. We will spend the night in a hotel located in the heart of the gorge.
Day 3 : Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Dunes (Erg Chebbi) :
After breakfast, we will walk a bit around the beautiful cliffs. Our next destination will be Merzouga and we will cross many different gorges along arid landscapes and mountains, like Todra where you'll be able to taste crystal clear water from the river. We will arrive to the only genuine "Erg" of the Sahara, it's an extension of land that gives form to the dunes, and this one is 250 meters tall. We will spend the night in Bivouac around Sahara Desert Merzouga Erg Chebbi
Day 4 : Erg Chebbi - Merzouga Desert Exploration :
After breakfast at the hotel, many options are available for you: You may go to explore the neighboring villages of Merzouga such as Hassi Labied, Khamlia where the black musicians.You may also enjoy an offroad drive around the dunes of Erg Chebbi and see the nomads living in tents in the desert.Enjoy the swiming pool in summer months, or climb dunes in front of your hotel at Erg Chebbi dune line.
Day 5 : Erg Chebbi - Ziz Valley - Midelt - Azrou - Ifrane - Fes :
After having breakfast, camel trek back to the hotel at the dune line for a quick shower. We drive towards Fes, we stop on the road to enjoy the panoramic views over the Ziz valley before we cross the High Atlas Mountains again. We stop by a town called Midelt where we'll have lunch. We pass Azrou then Ifrane and its huge cedar wood forest to see the monkeys. We continue to the legendary city of Fes.
